I have had multiple contacts with them. Either they are *** or committing a crime.
I paid a shortage on my escrow account in July of 2017, then sent my mortgage payment. All were sent and received on time. On my next statement they had taken the escrow money and applied it to the principal. The mortgage check I sent is "unassigned'.
The result was according to them "a shortage in my mortgage payment as well as a penalty fee. I wrote a letter to customer service over a month ago and received no response. I spoke with an agent on the phone. "Hey, ya'll, it will be taken care of.
Today, I received a statement that my account was delinquent.
I think a good idea, and something I'm going to do is to write a letter to South Carolina's attorney general as well as the attorney general in my state since they do business here. All should do the same.
