New ReviewerIf Shellpoint fails to give adequate notice for changing the terms of the loan, it's considered a "Lender Breach of Contract". That's illegal.
Citi sold or transferred my note to Shellpoint. Shellpoint changed the original terms without my consent.
This is illegal. Contracts are void when sold or transferred, especially if the original terms are changed. Now it's considered a debt collection and they say I don't have to make payments. They will keep a lien on the property.
I've ask them to settle for less than what's owed.
They want me to pay 50% interest on a 2nd mortgage and I disagree since 50% interest is illegal on any loan. This is predatory lending.
Reason of review: Problems with payment.

Glad I don't owe on a 2nd mortgage on my home that was recently sold to Shellpoint, and I hope that they don't think that I do.
